Worden Cemetery Vortex

Scott said, "This was taken last Wednesday at the Worden Cemetery in Hamel, Illinois, about 20 miles east of St. Louis. My girlfriend and I were attempting to do EVP for the first time. Well, we didn't get anything on the tape (we weren't doing it correctly, no external mike and we were using a dictaphone) but when we developed the film....this is what we got.

Needless to say we were quite surprised. The plot thickens. This was the last photo taken before we left the cemetery. We had taken one roll of color film, which nothing showed up on. She loaded the black and white film and began taking pictures. Six photo's into the new roll, she took this picture of me petting a big dog that came over from the farm across the street. Just after snapping this picture the film rewound. The strange thing is that in order for her to have rewound the film midway through the roll would have required more than just pressing the rewind button. The film rewinding itself shouldn't have happened. We both commented that that was strange.

"It wasn't until we developed the film that we really knew HOW strange it was! The vortex seems to be coming from the dog, or at least it is covering him up. Only his tail is visible in the photograph. Also, the actual photo is much better than the scanned version. In the real photograph the vortex is transparent through the middle. There are also distinct swirls all along it and at the edges. The swirling is visible in the scan at the bottom and the top of the vortex. I think this is definitely one of the best vortex photo's I've ever seen. Everyone I've shown it to agree's, even the most skeptical people (of whom I consider myself one) are taken aback when they see it."
