Spirit Energy of Old Town Plaza

Join Dave and Sharon of the International Ghost Hunters Society on February 14, 2004 for an investigation of the Old Town Plaza, referred to as the City of the Dead in their forthcoming book, American Hauntings Investigated. We will be focusing on the many haunts found in Old Town Plaza, built along the banks of the Rio Grande River in 1706. This serene village has been the focal point of community life. It started as a colonial farming village and military outpost along the Camino Real between Chihuahua, Mexico and Santa Fe. The village was in the traditional Spanish pattern of a central plaza surrounded by a church, homes, and government buildings. San Felipe de Neri Church, founded in 1706, has been in continuous use for almost three centuries.

Join Dave & Sharon for a ghostly seminar at Old Town Plaza starting Saturday morning at 9 AM and ending at Noon. The afternoon is dedicated to hands on investigation of several haunted sites. We will have dinner in the oldest hacienda in Old Town Plaza, and best of all, it is haunted by the spirit of Sarah. This wonderful haunt is the Church Street Cafe in Old Town Plaza. A special Ghost Walk is being planned by a former Ghost Tour Guide for Old Town Plaza. She is a local IGHS member who will be sharing her extensive knowledge of the legends and hauntings found in Old Town Plaza.

The seminar is typical of those held by us, dress code is ghost hunters style, that is, whatever you feel comfortable with wearing. We will keep the seminar size down to allow time for one on one with each person attending. Walk back into time as you enter Old Town Plaza. This is one of our favorite haunts in New Mexcio. Bring your cameras and your digital or tape recorders, along with spare batteries.
