According to Carl, "It was November last year when we visited a local graveyard reputed to be haunted. We conducted a vigil at the haunted site well into the early hours of the morning in hope of gathering some first hand evidence to support the existance of ghosts. We took many photographs of the haunted site as well as taking it in shifts to explore and make notes. Upon developement of the photographs we noticed a strange mist clearly visible on two of them, which was certainly not visible at the time they were taken. I took the photographs back to the developers to see if they could offer me any opinion, but were at a loss as to what the strange mist could be."

"The photographs were taken with a 35 mm camera (with flash) along with a standard 35 mm film. They were taken around 10.35 pm. It was a clear night with very little cloud cover, and the atmosphere was very crisp and somewhat cold."
