Chris said, "I took a photograph a year ago in the old Melbourne Gaol while on holiday in Melbourne, Australia and my sister noticed an odd smell while standing by the site of the old gallows (where around 20 men had apparently been hanged) so I snapped a picture from that spot. I was standing with the gallows about two feet behind me at the time. None of my other photos came out well, but this was the only picture which appeared with a white ring on it."

Dave's Notes:
Notice that this vortex can't be a strap since it is not hanging down in a vertical format but extends into the photo from the side which is not possible with a strap.
