DANCING IN MEMPHIS

These digital photos was submitted by Al Collier at spirit@arkansas.net.

All said, "This is a series of 5 photos taken July 28, 1997 at about 10 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee. This alley is across form Confederate Park, a park overlooking the Mississippi River, where the towns people gathered to watch a battle. According to local people, in the alley a ' dancing ghost ' is sometimes seen. This is our second attempt at contact."

"While watching the digital camera's (TV) screen, the color of the monument kept changing and flashing. At first I thought the camera was broken - but the photos before and after the event were fine. Unfortunately (at least to me) the photos just look real grainy."

"One more note about the dancing ghost, we first heard the story from a horse drawn carriage driver. Then we made it a point to talk with some other people in town we have known for several years and they confirmed the story. Apparently, at times it becomes so visible or disturbing that the security guards for the building will discourage people from walking the alley during the late night hours. Can't confirm that, just more of the local folk lore."

Dave's Notes:
Since these photos were digital and not regular film, the greenish vertical lines on the left side of the photo are not from the chemical or developing process. Notice that the beginning and ending photos do not have this greenish anomaly. This is not the first time, a greenish anomaly shows up on a digital image taken at a location reportedly haunted.
